There is something special about Easter Sunday morning. As a kid, I’d jump out of bed and find my Easter basket, have breakfast with my family and head out to an extra special time at church. Come to think of it, I still like the very same things… but now days my Easter basket is cleverly hidden in the candy display rack at my local 7-11.
I can’t wait for our very first Easter Sunday morning at Mosaic Church of Aurora. God has been so good to us so far… worshipping Him on Easter Sunday with a bunch of new friends is going to be awesome. We’ve planned, worked and prayed and are so eager to see how God chooses to use those efforts. If you are in the area, come join us – if that’s not doable, please pray for us.
I am so eager to clearly communicate to our new neighbors that Easter is the perfect illustration of God’s ability to transform the broken in to something beautiful. And the fact is that He is ready, willing and able to begin doing that transformation in our lives and through our efforts right now! Please pray for us that we will be able to proclaim God’s message in clear and compelling ways.
This is going to be a great Easter!
