a good day

Yesterday was a good day. I helped to feed and interact with 65 kids, met with a local pastor, played softball (we lost, otherwise it would have been a very good day) and signed the documents to buy Mosaic’s first building. It was a good day. Yesterday, I realized yet again that God is good and that He is looking on us favorably.

There is nothing better than sensing God’s presence and blessing (a walk-off home-run would be close, but not better). We are so grateful to God, and so thankful to the hundreds of people that have prayed and gave to help make this happen… thanks.

This sort of feels like graduation or commencement day. It’s nice to have this phase completed, but this is just the beginning. Now it’s time to “commence” with building prep and remodeling, fund raising, expanded ministry and a party or two. It’s great to have a building, now it’s time to get on with the work of partnering with God to transform a community, one life at a time.

Let’s commence!
