God is faithful

God delivers on His pIMG_20140910_115444_020romises. As you look through the Scriptures you’ll see God fulfilling His promises over and over again. If you take a close look at your life, you’ll see the same is true… God is faithful to do what He says He will do.

God’s faithfulness is impeccable, but His timing and process often causes us stress. We expect that God will fulfill His promises according to our timetable and according to our expectations… He has never promised that and He rarely does that. But even as God works in ways we don’t expect or understand, the stress that causes provides us with His promised opportunities to grow and become all that He created us to be.

The timing and process of getting into our building (the Opportunity Center) has been frustrating and complicated. It has been filled with opportunities for growth (I find I like it more when God gives others rather than me, opportunities for growth). I’ve also learned that the more difficult the process, the sweeter the celebration of the accomplishment. So, I am really looking forward to celebrating God’s faithfulness as we hold our Open House & Dedication Ceremony this Saturday, May 2nd at 1:30pm at our newly renovated building at 1445 Dayton Street. Its been quite a process (and in many ways, the complicated process, continues), its going to be quite a celebration.

Come join us.
